When Is the Best Time of Year to Install Permanent Holiday Lighting in DFW?

Permanent lighting is engineered to install year-round, but the time of year you book affects price, lead time, and how quickly your lights are ready for the next holiday.

Spring (March–May): the smartest window. Booking is open, weather is mild, and we frequently run promotional pricing to fill the schedule. You'll have lights running for July 4th, then every holiday after.

Summer (June–August): great availability, but North Texas heat can compress install windows to early morning. Expect normal pricing and 1–2 week lead times.

Fall (September–November): peak demand. By mid-October, our schedule is typically booked through Thanksgiving. Book in August if you want lights for the full Christmas season.

Winter (December–February): the off-season for new installs but a great window for design consultations and HOA submissions. Quotes locked in winter often hold for spring install at the same rate.

Bottom line: if you want lights for Christmas, book by August. For Thanksgiving, book by mid-October. For the lowest price and best availability, book in spring.
