Texas home outlined in permanent holiday lighting
Permanent Holiday Lighting

Every holiday, lit. Every day, invisible.

Commercial-grade 24V RGBW LEDs mounted in slim aluminum tracks under your eaves — installed once, programmable for permanent Christmas lights, Halloween, July 4th, game day, and warm-white year-round accent lighting.

How it works

A system designed to disappear.

Slim aluminum tracks are color-matched and tucked seamlessly under your eaves. Each socket holds an individually addressable 24V RGBW LED — every bulb can produce 16 million colors, dim independently, and run dynamic effects, all from one low-voltage run that's safe for the roofline and easy to service.

  • Hidden behind your fascia — virtually invisible during the day
  • Controlled from the free Surplife app on iOS & Android
  • RGBW LEDs: warm white year-round + every holiday color
  • Hail-rated, weatherproof, 10+ year LED life
  • Professionally installed in 1–2 days by our in-house crew
  • 8-year product warranty (lifetime on bulbs) + 3-year labor warranty

How it's installed

Engineered to disappear into your roofline.

Permanent lighting isn't strands tacked to your gutter. It's a precision system that hides the track behind your fascia and brings each node cleanly through the board — here's exactly what gets installed.

Roofline cross-section showing permanent lighting recessed through the fascia boardSide-profile cross-section of a roof edge. The shingled roof deck overhangs a fascia board. A hidden rear-mounted track sits behind the fascia. An RGBW LED node is seated inside a drilled opening through the fascia board so the lens is nearly flush with the outside face of the board. A dashed low-voltage wire runs inside the hidden track and into the soffit. From the street the mounting hardware is not visible — only the small recessed lens and its wash of light are visible at night.

Step-by-step walkthrough of the permanent lighting installation

  1. Step 1 of 4: A hidden rear-mounted track sits behind the fascia board. Depending on the home, this can be hat-track, J-channel, or another raceway profile, but from the street the mounting hardware is not visible.
  2. Step 2 of 4: Individually addressable RGBW LED nodes are installed every four inches and pass through drilled openings in the fascia board so the lens sits nearly flush with the exterior face.
  3. Step 3 of 4: The low-voltage bus wire runs inside the hidden track behind the fascia and routes through the soffit to a single discreet entry point — no exposed cables on your facade.
  4. Step 4 of 4: A weatherproof Wi-Fi smart controller is mounted in the garage or under the eave and connects to a dedicated GFCI outlet. From this controller you schedule scenes, change colors, and dim the system from your phone.
  1. 01

Track hidden behind the fascia board

A bent aluminum hat-track, J-channel, or raceway is mounted on the back side of the fascia so the hardware is completely hidden from the street.

  2. 02

LED nodes recessed through the fascia

Individually addressable RGBW bulbs sit inside drilled fascia openings every 4″ so the lens reads from the face of the board instead of hanging below the roofline.

  3. 03

Low-voltage wiring concealed behind the fascia

The bus wire runs inside the hidden rear-mounted track and routes through the soffit to a single discreet entry point — no exposed cables on your facade.

  4. 04

    Smart controller + GFCI outlet

A weatherproof cloud controller mounts in the garage or under-eave, connects to your Wi-Fi, and powers every scene from your phone.

Permanent vs. seasonal

Why DFW is switching to permanent.

Most DFW homeowners spend $1,500–$3,000 every single year on seasonal install services. Here's how that stacks up against a one-time permanent system.

YearSeasonal installPermanent (us)
Year 1$2,000$3,500 (one-time)
Year 2$2,200$0
Year 3$2,400$0 — already paid back
Year 5$2,800$0
Year 10 total~$24,000$3,500

Estimate based on average DFW seasonal install pricing ($1,500–$3,000/yr) and a mid-range permanent install.
