Front Only vs Front + Sides vs Full Wrap: DFW Coverage Options Explained

When we quote permanent holiday lighting in DFW, the very first decision is coverage. Front only, front + sides, or full wrap. The lights, channel, controller, app, and warranty are identical — only the linear footage changes. Here's how to choose.
Front only ($0.60 per sqft, plus trim buffer). Just the street-facing roofline. The cheapest entry point — about $1,000 on a 1,500 sqft home and $1,725 on a 1,700 sqft ranch. Best for: homes on flag lots, homes with privacy fencing on both sides, or homeowners who want to start with the minimum and add later.
Front + sides ($1.67 per sqft). Our most-installed package. Covers the front roofline plus both side returns visible from the street and from neighboring driveways. About $2,825 on a 1,700 sqft home and $4,675 on a 2,800 sqft two-story. Best for: 90% of DFW homes — corner lots, mid-block homes, anywhere neighbors can see your sides.
Full wrap ($2.28 per sqft). Front, sides, and back. About $3,875 on a 1,700 sqft home and $9,575 on a 4,200 sqft two-story. Best for: pool-facing rear elevations, lake homes, golf-course lots, or any property where the back yard reads as living space.
All three tiers use the same hidden aluminum channel, identical RGBW LEDs, identical Surplife app, and identical 8-year product / 3-year labor warranty. You're not buying 'better' lights at the higher tier — just more of them.
