Permanent Holiday Lighting: Plano vs McKinney — Cost, HOA, and Install Differences

Plano and McKinney TX homes with permanent holiday lighting comparison

Two of our busiest DFW cities — Plano and McKinney — have very different homes. Plano leans newer, brick-and-stone, with tighter rooflines. McKinney has more two-story estates with deep eaves, especially in Stonebridge Ranch and Tucker Hill.

Plano installs average $4,800–$7,200. The roofline is shorter, the work is faster, and West Plano HOAs (Willow Bend, Deerfield) approve our matte channel without modification.

McKinney installs average $5,500–$9,800. Stonebridge Ranch requires a specific mounting depth (we use the deeper drip-edge channel by default) and Tucker Hill's review board often requests a sample piece on-site before approving — we bring one to every consultation.

Both cities qualify for our 0% / 12-month financing and the same 10+ year LED, 8-year product, 3-year labor warranty. The only meaningful difference is final price, driven entirely by linear footage.
