DFW Wedding Lighting Cost Guide: Bistro, Uplights, and Tent Pricing
Backyard weddings in DFW are growing fast — Westlake, Southlake, Colleyville, and Trophy Club estates are some of the most-requested venues we light. Here are real 2026 prices and the package breakdowns we quote most often.
Intimate (up to 50 guests, 1 zone): $1,800–$2,400 turn-key. Includes one bistro string canopy over the head table or dance area, two warm-white uplights against the back of the house or fence line, install 1–2 days before, day-of standby phone support, and tear-down the morning after.
Signature (up to 100 guests, 2 zones): $2,800–$3,800 turn-key. Two bistro grids (typically dining + dance), four uplights, on-site standby during cocktail hour and first dance, and tear-down. This is our most-booked package.
Estate (200+ guests, multi-zone): $5,500–$8,500. Multi-zone bistro coverage, 8+ uplights including up-can lights for trees, optional pin-spot table lighting, monogram projection (couple's initials on the dance floor or back wall), and full-event on-site technician.
Add-ons we quote frequently: monogram projector ($350), perimeter pin-spot table lights ($25/table), dance-floor wash with 8 fixtures ($550), bridal-room interior wash ($250), bistro extension over the bar area ($400–$700), backup generator setup ($600).
Insurance and permits: every quote includes our $2M general liability policy plus any city of-record permits required by the venue. Westlake and Southlake estate venues both routinely require this paperwork.
Conversion credit: about 30% of our wedding clients convert their event lighting into a permanent backyard install within 12 months. We credit 50% of the event lighting cost toward the permanent system if you book the upgrade within 90 days.
Best practice for booking: lock your wedding lighting 60–90 days out. We can usually accommodate 2–3 week lead times in non-peak months, but May, October, and the Saturday before Christmas fill up 4+ months ahead.
